Description
A mold-blown cased glass vase featuring a white milk glass interior and a matte, acid-etched exterior finish. The vessel is designed with a bulbous body, a tapered neck, and a complex double-crimped ruffled rim. The rim and interior throat exhibit a color transition from white to a salmon-pink coral hue, characteristic of Peachblow style art glass. The body is decorated with hand-painted enamel botanical motifs, including stylized leaves in shades of green, yellow, and orange, interspersed with sprays of blue, orange, and light pink flowers. The enamel is applied with a slight impasto texture. The vase stands on a simple, integral ring foot of opaque white glass. There are no maker marks, signatures, or country-of-origin stamps visible on the exterior or the base.
Condition report:
The vase is in good condition. The ruffled rim is intact with no chips or cracks (photo 3). The hand-painted enamel decoration is largely well-preserved, though a small vertical scratch resulting in minor paint loss is visible on the large yellow leaf (photo 2). The base shows no significant scuffing or structural damage.
