Description
A glass pocket flask contained within a dark brown pebbled leather sleeve. The leather casing is constructed with two straps that pass over the shoulders of the flask, converging at a central point on the front. These straps are secured by a single black plastic button featuring an embossed decorative symbol of four interlocking loops. The leather sleeve is joined at the reverse with a vertical cross-stitch seam in light brown thread, and the shoulder straps are anchored to the back with two small metallic rivets. A continuous stitch runs around the perimeter of the base to secure the bottom leather panel. The glass body is clear with rounded shoulders, topped with a silver-toned metal screw-cap that features a ribbed texture at the base for grip. No maker name or country of origin is visible on the flask or the leather casing.
Condition report:
The leather casing shows light surface scuffing and minor wear to the edges, particularly around the top rim and straps (photo 1). The silver-toned metal cap exhibits surface tarnishing and fine scratches consistent with use (photo 1 and 2). The glass remains clear without visible chips or cracks where exposed. The stitching on the reverse and base appears intact and secure (photo 2).
