Lot 14:
Description
A vintage beverage dispenser composed of a cylindrical glass vessel mounted between a dark-stained, turned wood base and a matching wood lid. The clear glass body features an acid-etched design depicting a cluster of grapes with accompanying leaves and vines. The vessel is capped with a tiered, turned wooden lid featuring a rounded finial. The base is also constructed of turned wood with a wide, tiered pedestal foot. A brass-toned metal spigot is installed at the lower section of the glass, secured with a red rubber gasket. The spigot features a decorative quatrefoil-shaped handle. No maker marks, signatures, or country of origin labels are visible on the glass or wooden components.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition. The glass body is intact without chips or cracks, showing some internal dust and light residue at the bottom. The turned wooden base and lid exhibit minor surface wear, light scratches, and small indentations consistent with age and use. The brass-toned spigot shows minor tarnishing and surface wear; the functionality of the internal valve and the integrity of the rubber gasket have not been tested.
